Multi-Branch Physiotherapy: Packages Across Branches

Multi-Branch Physiotherapy Centres: When a Patient Buys at One Branch and Is Treated at Another

When a patient buys a physiotherapy package at one branch and is treated at another, here is how to keep sessions, balances and commission right.

When a patient buys a physiotherapy package at Branch A and continues treatment at Branch B, the centre needs one shared package record and a clear settlement rule. Every session redeemed at any branch should come off the same package, the sales commission should stay with whoever sold it at Branch A, the hands-on commission should go to the therapist who treated at Branch B, and a cross-branch report should show what each branch is owed at month end.

Why cross-branch packages cause trouble in physiotherapy groups

  • Patients move for convenience. A patient may start near the office and continue near home, or switch to the branch with an earlier slot.
  • Each branch keeps its own list. If Branch B cannot see the package bought at Branch A, the front desk has to call around or ask the patient to pay again.
  • Sessions get counted twice or not at all. Paper cards and separate spreadsheets drift apart.
  • Branches argue over the money. Branch A collected the payment; Branch B did the work. Without a rule, month end turns into a negotiation.
  • Therapists worry about being paid. A therapist at Branch B wants to know that treating another branch’s patient still counts.

When a centre opens its second branch, what gets messy first is not the treatment but the question of which branch a package belongs to. Settle the rules before the second branch opens, so the front desk and therapists are not caught out when a patient changes branch.

Three rules that keep cross-branch packages clean

Diagram of three rules for cross-branch physiotherapy packages: one package record for every branch, commission split by job, and branches settled with a report

1. One package record for every branch

The package, remaining sessions, history and outstanding balance should live in one record that every branch can redeem from. Branch B then sees the same balance Branch A sold, and each session is deducted once.

2. Split commission by job, not by branch

Sales commission follows the money collected and stays with the staff member and branch that sold the package. Hands-on commission follows the session and goes to the therapist who treated the patient, wherever that happened. See physiotherapist commission for the two-track rules.

3. Settle branches with a report, not a phone call

At month end, a cross-branch settlement report should list every session one branch performed for another branch’s package, so both branch managers work from the same numbers.

What to agree on before opening another branch

  • Which branch “owns” the package for sales reporting.
  • How cross-branch sessions are settled between branches, and how often.
  • Who can see what. Front desks need the package balance; branch managers need their own figures and the cross-branch report.
  • How patients are told. Let patients know they can continue their package at any branch in the group.

How MyBMS Pro handles cross-branch physiotherapy packages

MyBMS Pro is an AI-driven, next-generation SaaS management hub specifically designed for multi-branch beauty salons. For physiotherapy groups, these features work together:

Diagram of a cross-branch physiotherapy package in MyBMS Pro: package sold at Branch A, session redeemed at Branch B from the same package, hands-on commission to the Branch B therapist, and a cross-branch settlement report
  • Course and package tracking. Remaining sessions, history and outstanding balance for every patient, redeemed at the same branch or at another branch.
  • Cross-branch redemption. A package bought at Branch A can be used at Branch B. Sales and hands-on commission are routed automatically, and a cross-branch settlement report is generated.
  • Two-track tiered commission. Sales commission in tiers on total collection; hands-on commission when a session is redeemed.

FAQ

Can a patient use a physiotherapy package at another branch?

Yes, if the centre keeps one package record that every branch can redeem from. Each session is deducted from the same package wherever it is performed.

Which branch gets the revenue when a package is bought at one branch and used at another?

Agree on a rule in advance. A common approach is that the selling branch keeps the sale and a cross-branch report shows the sessions the other branch performed, so the two can settle at month end.

Who earns commission for a cross-branch session?

The person who sold the package keeps the sales commission. The therapist who treated the patient earns the hands-on commission for that session.

Is there a MyBMS Pro mobile app?

No. MyBMS Pro is a web-based system used in the browser.
