A salon chain is easiest to run when headquarters works from one system that covers every branch: HQ can book appointments for any outlet, approve and dispatch stock, settle packages that are bought at one branch and used at another, and see every branch’s numbers on one dashboard, while each branch still runs its own day. Without that, the owner ends up chasing branch managers for spreadsheets, and commission, stock and package balances drift apart. MyBMS Pro is built around this HQ–branch structure.

Why running several branches gets harder than running one
Opening a second or third branch rarely fails because of the treatments. It gets difficult because the information is split:
- Each branch keeps its own bookings. A customer calls the branch she usually visits, but the slot she wants is free at another branch, and nobody can see both.
- Packages do not travel well. A customer buys a package at Branch A and wants to redeem a session at Branch B. Someone has to work out who earns the sales commission, who earns the hands-on commission, and how the two branches settle at month end.
- Stock is split across outlets. One branch runs out of a consumable while another has more than it needs, and replenishment is arranged by phone.
- The owner sees the numbers late. Daily traffic, revenue and outstanding balances arrive at month end, after it is too late to act.
Each of these touches money directly: a lost booking, a commission dispute, stock bought twice, or an outstanding balance nobody follows up.
Before moving to MyBMS Pro, many owners I work with kept track of each day’s results through report screenshots that branch managers sent on WhatsApp. What goes wrong most often is cross-branch redemption: as soon as a customer uses her package at another branch, HQ’s month-end check of the manual records and service commission almost always ends in a mess.

What HQ should control, and what each branch should keep
A workable setup gives HQ visibility and control over the things that cross branches, and leaves daily operation to the branch.

| Area | HQ | Each branch |
|---|---|---|
| Bookings | Cross-branch authority to book appointments for any branch | Runs its own appointment book and front desk |
| Sales | Its own POS for selling gift vouchers and online store orders | Sells and redeems packages at its own counter |
| Stock | Sees stock at every branch, dispatches items, approves replenishment requests | Requests replenishment and keeps its own stocktake |
| Packages and commission | Receives the cross-branch settlement report for month-end reconciliation | Redeems packages bought at other branches |
| Numbers | Sees every branch on one dashboard | Sees its own staff status and daily work |
The principle is simple: data is kept separate per branch but brought together at HQ, so branches can work independently without HQ losing sight of the group.
Central booking from HQ
When HQ has cross-branch booking authority, the HQ team can place a customer in whichever branch has the right slot, instead of asking the customer to call another outlet. This matters most during busy periods such as public holidays, when one branch is fully booked and VIP customers would otherwise wait too long.
At branch level, live staff status shows which therapists are free or in service, how many customers each has served today, and the month’s top three performers, which helps the front desk assign the next customer.
Selling from HQ: gift vouchers and online orders
Many chains sell centrally: gift vouchers at festive seasons, or packages sold through the online store. MyBMS Pro gives HQ its own POS for this, so central sales are recorded at HQ rather than squeezed into one branch’s figures. Packages can also be sold and paid for online.
Cross-branch redemption without month-end arguments
Take a customer who buys a package at Branch A and redeems a session at Branch B:
- Branch A sells the package. Sales commission is calculated on the amount actually collected.
- Branch B performs the treatment. The session is redeemed from the package and hands-on commission goes to the therapist who did the work.
- The system routes both commissions to the right staff and branch.
- At month end, HQ receives a cross-branch settlement report for reconciliation, instead of rebuilding it from notes.
For a full walk-through, read our guide to cross-branch package redemption. For how sales and hands-on commission work, see our salon staff commission guide.
Stock: one view at HQ, stocktake at the branch
HQ can see the stock at every branch and dispatch items where they are needed. When a branch runs low, it raises a replenishment request in the system and HQ approves it. Each branch keeps its own stocktake, so responsibility for counting stays with the people handling the stock. We cover this flow step by step in multi-branch salon inventory management.
One dashboard for the whole group
The AI dynamic business dashboard tracks daily customer traffic, revenue trends, target achievement and outstanding balance details in real time. Alongside it, the AI dormant customer alert flags customers who have not visited for 90 days and still have unused packages, so the group can see where package liabilities are building up. If you are deciding which figures to review each day, see our salon KPI guide.
A checklist before you open the next branch
- HQ can book appointments for every branch from one place.
- Packages bought at one branch can be redeemed at any other branch.
- Sales and hands-on commission are routed automatically across branches.
- A cross-branch settlement report is ready at month end.
- HQ sees stock at every branch and approves replenishment requests.
- Each branch keeps its own stocktake.
- Daily traffic, revenue and outstanding balances are visible to HQ without waiting for reports.
How MyBMS Pro supports multi-branch salons
MyBMS Pro is an AI-driven, next-generation SaaS management hub specifically designed for multi-branch beauty salons. For salon groups it brings together:

- HQ–branch structure. HQ has group-wide control; branches operate independently. Data is separated by branch and unified at HQ.
- HQ central booking and independent sales. HQ can book for every branch and has its own POS for gift vouchers and online store orders.
- Cross-branch redemption and automatic reconciliation. Commission is routed between branches and a cross-branch settlement report is generated.
- Global stock dispatch and approval workflow. HQ dispatches stock and approves branch requests; branches keep their own stocktake.
- AI dynamic business dashboard. Daily traffic, revenue trends, target achievement and outstanding balances in real time.
- Separate billing per branch. HQ uses the Enterprise plan and each branch uses the Pro plan, billed separately, with billing periods prorated to align with HQ.

MyBMS Pro is a web-based system, so HQ and branches use it in the browser. See how it fits a salon group on our beauty salon solution page.
